Society of Lizard Misrule OST
Society of Lizard Misrule is a student film produced The University of Florida’s Florida Players, a student run theater company, in an effort to continue producing theatrical content in the age of COVID. A team of students convened online to write a script together in only a month with filming the month following.
The film’s original soundtrack was written and produced by Armand Ercoli in Ableton LIVE.

Inspired by bittersweet futurism of the 2013 film "Her" samples were pulled from the introductory scene between Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) and the AI, Samantha (Scarlett Johansson). The cold rising tension and uncertainty of this scene contrasted with the warm welcoming presence of Samantha lends itself perfectly to infinite sound design possibilities.
